This is a handmade wooden soap dish, or a brush dish as I use mine for.
It has a wax finish on an oil for protection. It has a little rustic loop on the back for wall hanging, but looks equally nicely standing on the sink for instance.
The wood intended under the soap/brush is removable and has holes for drainage. It has been heavily laden with oil for protection but can bulge if it is constantly drenched in water, for this is made from thin wood plywood and behaves as such......unlike if it was made from waterproof ceramic or metal. So keeping it rather drier than naught is very recomended.
